Spelt grains/cherry stones are old, rediscovered home remedies. They charge themselves with heat, release it in measured doses and retain the heat they have stored for a long time. There is no risk of scalding and they are therefore particularly suitable for babies and small children. Warmed spelt pillows are particularly good for relieving a rumbling stomach.
For cold application, it is recommended to place the pillow in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer for about an hour.
Pat & Patty stands for imaginative and practical children's items that both little mice and their parents enjoy .
Important safety instructions for using heat pads:
Do not overheat: Heat pads should never be heated for longer than recommended. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for exact heating time and level, especially when using a microwave. Overheated pads can cause burns or catch fire. Horse heat pad
Check temperature: Always test the temperature of the heat pad before placing it on the skin, e.g. by feeling it with your hand. Avoid direct skin contact if the pad is too hot to avoid burns.
Do not soak the pad: Make sure the pad stays dry. A damp pad can heat up irregularly and lead to dangerously high temperatures. Moisture can also shorten the life of the heat pad. Horse heat pad
Do not use in bed or under the covers: Do not use heat pads in bed or under the covers as this can lead to overheating, which increases the risk of fire.
Regular inspection: Heat pads should be checked regularly for tears, holes or other damage. Defective pads may leak or impair their heating function, which may pose a safety risk.
Not for children or people in need of assistance without supervision: Children and people in need of assistance should only use heat pads under supervision to ensure that they can remove the pad if they experience discomfort.
Take breaks from use: Heat pads should not be used for long periods without interruption. Take a break after about 15-20 minutes to avoid skin irritation and burns.
Never use as a heat source: Heat pads are not suitable as heat sources for clothing or blankets. Only use them for their intended purpose.
Do not heat improperly: Do not use the heat pad in unsuitable devices, such as the oven or on radiators. The correct heat source and duration can be found in the instructions for use.
Store correctly: Store the heat pad in a dry and cool place. Do not store it in damp places or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the material.
